Assignment # 2 High Key/ Low Key

During this assignment I learned a lot about myself.  I can tell that I am definitely getting more picky because I was never fully satisfied.  This assignment was more challenging than I though it would be, but I enjoyed it.

Lindon Marina

This was a shape exercise at the Lindon Marina.  I was working on looking beyond what everyone else sees and practiced using the aperture.  Here is my circle.

Three triangles or a diamond?

Triangles, how many do you see?  I think this is the Black Pearl. Arrrrrr.

Star in a circle and circles in a star, Jackpot!

I now know what it feels like to be bitten by a cliché.

Low Key and High Key Exercise

This is my high key prep photograph.  I learned a lot about the use of light and playing with angles and shadow.

This is my low key prep photograph.  I learned a lot about temperature and bracketing.  Very fun and interesting exercise.  Very helpful for the future.

Assignment 1 Photo Project

This project was challenging, fun, exciting, and eye opening.  Here are a few of my favorite photographs.
I Found this barber pole in Downtown Provo, the number is represented by the stripes. How many do you see?
Hiking with my son in the canyon. The number is represented by the number of steps my son is from me.  He is 36 steps away.

My 45 Hollow Points.  Enough Said.

Especially proud of this picture because I was standing on top of my car on the side of the Highway to take it!  50 Stars

Cabela's started 1961, my son's favorite place to go! This photograph represents 61.
